Narayanan "Nadu" Ramakrishnan is the product manager of Avaz (www.avazapp.com), a picture based assistive app for people who face difficulty in communication. Narayanan, an alum of Georgia Tech, Atlanta and BIT, Mesra, has worked with PwC (India) and web based startups like Meetup and NextJump in the New York area. In addition to a passion for assistive tech, Nadu has an abiding interest in finding ways of making the web more relevant, accessible and inclusive for everyone. His pet projects include Open Captions (www.open-captions.com), a way of learning American Sign Laguage and Arduino based art projects. He was also part of the team that built Mobile Music Touch, a glove built for rehabilitating persons recovering from spinal cord injuries.
