The US is known as the land of early adopters and high value customers. But it is also a highly competitive market, and it's hard to get a sizeable market share there. You spend a lot of time and effort trying to gain a grasp on this market, while proudly proclaiming you have a global footprint for your product.

But the globe is more than the United States. There are other markets out there, developed and developing. There are other markets that have unmet needs, that your product may be right for. But you don't go there because you haven't heard of many people following such a strategy. We have three speakers from the founding teams of their companies, who will tell you why they chose to go to markets other than the US, how they went about it and bust some of your mind-made myths along the way.
